Couple Caught Having Sex at New Jersey Church

On Thursday, a couple was caught having sex while under the influence of alcohol at a church next to Seaside Heights police station.

A church staff member caught them in a garden area between the church and rectory at around 12:30 a.m.

48-year-old Noelle M. Smart and 43-year-old Anthony M. Getchius both were charged with lewdness for their crime. The other charges of Getchius included obstruction and disorderly conduct. Both are summoned to court for:

• Creating a public nuisance.
• Disrobing in public.
• Possession of an alcoholic beverage.

The couple was booked into jail without bail. They were also listed as homeless by the police.
