52-Year-Old Ridgewood Woman Charged in DWI Crash After Driving The Wrong Side At Hawthorne Car Wash

On Thursday, 52-year-old Nicole Allan caused an accident while driving drunk as she drove into the wrong side of the Hawthorne Car Wash.

Allan was behind the wheel of a 2017 Hyundai Elantra and the accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. She had an open bottle of wine in her purse.

The police issued a field sobriety test to her which she failed. She also refused to give a breath sample for intoxication testing.

The vehicle was stuck in the car wash and it will be seized after it is removed.
