New Jersey Man Sought In Deadly Motel Shooting Captured In Georgia
CAMDEN, N.J. – 21-year-old Kevin Fentress, who was wanted by the police for a deadly shooting that happened at a New Jersey motel, has been taken into custody in Georgia.
Fentress was charged for the murder of a 17-year-old Camden boy. A 20-year-old Willingboro man was injured in the shooting in Cherry Hill that happened on the 28th of February.
Fentress is now awaiting extradition back to New Jersey, but it’s not yet confirmed when that will happen, according to Camden County prosecutors.
Authorities told that the 2 individuals were shot in a motor vehicle after a fight started during a party being held in one of the motel rooms. It is not confirmed if either victim was involved in the fight.
On Friday, the Burlington City man was taken into custody by the Federal marshals in Marietta, Georgia.
It is not known if he has hired a lawyer or not.
