MOUNT OLIVE , N.J. – 49-year-old Melissa Vitale got behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol to pick up a man from a New Jersey police station who had been charged with DUI.

She was called by 45-year-old Robert Woolf to pick him up after he was taken into custody for making an illegal turn and charged with drunken driving.

The cops at the police station told that Vitale showed signs of impairment when she approached the police station.

She was issued a field sobriety test which she didn’t pass for which she was also charged with DUI.

It is not clear if they both had hired lawyers or not.
